ok…i am a bit freaked!
i want reagan to go as an owl for halloween and have still not finished her costume…yikes!
let’s just hope that they are feeling better by the end of the week…
they are sick…yet again…
ryan is a fire fighter and he was saying that there has been some pretty serious warnings out about both swine flu, and the regular flu…if your babes are at all sick…keep them in.
it feels awesome to be scrapbooking again…it is so weird…i am like a kid! i keep thinking, ok…when is the next time i can scrapbook! when it is your job do something it becomes work, so i have found myself only scrapping if i needed to do a class, a project, or a advertisement. not this time…this time it is for me!
i just realized o forgot to circle the date on this layout…i love this photo so much! even though the color is off, and the shadow hides miss ireland…that is really kinda what it looked like that day, and she was so sick, but still found the energy to get into mischief!

let’s play catch up.
first things first…
last year i ran the seattle marathon…it was INSANE!!! i have never felt so raw and vulnerable yet totally empowered. i have been training to do it again this year, but…i have done something to my knee and…regretfully…. have had to stop training. i feel pretty defeated, but i am looking for another race to do early next year when i can start training again. here is the great news…before i hurt my knee, (about three weeks ago now) i ran the 10K event for the cause i am supporting this year 4us. we almost did not participate because the girls were kinda sick. it was a risky idea at first, but we went for it. we packed them up into our double wide, walked to the park near our house where the event was and got our running bibs. it was rough…luckily ryan pushed the entire time…but it was awesome to complete this race as a family!
well…toward the end of the event they held a kid fun dash…(note: i am ultra competitive…i have to totally be careful that i do not become one of those crazy moms who pushes thier kids to far.) we were going to skip it due to the fact that they were so snuggeld in and not feeling well, but they wanted to do it (with a little encouragement of course.)

reagan did not like the idea so much, but she also participated…it was so cute.
good job my sweet girls!
then they crawled back into the strollers and were simply tuckered out…it was hilarious…what troopers.

it has been a CRAZY last couple of weeks…the kids started off sick…and things have been wild since.
we took ireland to the er because we thought she had croup…she was having a really hard time breathing, she wouldn’t eat (which is SO strange for her), and she did not sleep over two hours for 5 days…she was so weak…then when she started to feel better reagan got worse…but then she started to feel better and i thought we were in the clear…
until…
i ventured out with them to target and we were shopping and reagan was playing in the cart, and i had just told her to sit down and she fell out over the back and hit her head on the concrete floor. she almost passed out so we called 911, took a ride in the ambulance and ended up back in the er. she has a mild concussion.
wow….DRAMA!
i felt like such a bad mom letting that happen, i know…i know…accident happen, but i still felt so bad!
she is totally fine now and both girls are really feeling better.
ok…so somehow writing this makes me feel accountable…
i have to…HAVE TO… start scrapbooking more…i promise myself that i will! so next post will be my first project in awhile, that is just for me…sadly i get used to scrapbooking for work…so i have made a conscious decision to start scrappbooking the way i used to…the way it should be…for my family!
